We added 2 new species to bring us to 167. Thanks to Nancy for tipping abou=
t a continuing observation of the Carolina Wren posted to NSBS Facebook.



Carolina Wren =96 continuing =96 Birch Cove Park, Dartmouth

Black Vulture =96 Allan and Cathy Murrant emailed me about a Black Vulture =
in Port Morien, Cape Breton with an injured that was captured by DNR and ta=
ken to the Cobequid Rehabilitation Center.





The following are the core species we have yet to add to the WBL.

Killdeer =96 Our last one was Nov 18 on Cape Sable Island, Cape Sable.

Ruddy Turnstone =96 Not seen since Nov 4 at Hartlen Point

Wilson=92s Snipe =96 I=92m sure one will turn up some time.

Atlantic Puffin =96 A select few manage to get them on every WBL.

Brown Thrasher =96 last one was seen in Digby County on Nov 26

Black-backed Woodpecker

Long-eared Owl

Short-eared Owl

Brant



Winter Bird List (WBL) runs from Dec 1 =96 to Feb 29
