Hi All,
On last Sunday's (Dec. 16th.) Aspy Bay CBC I spotted a Goldeneye, in D=
ingwall harbour, that didn't fit as either a Common or Barrow's. I took som=
e long range video (the bird was a 100 meters+/- away) and when I checked i=
t I thought it might be a Barrow's /Common Goldeneye hybrid. Ian McLaren an=
d Alex d'Entremont both feel it is likely a hybrid and Alex will post my lo=
ng range video grab photos on eBird - which I don't use. I'm not sure if it=
can be listed on the winter bird list or even the CBC but it's a 1st. for=
me so it goes on my life list. All the best.
