Today I was fortunate enough to have two Brown Creepers zeroing in on the peanut butter at the same time. One being very dull grey and the other a rich brown (that I would call typical). I see that they do come in official colour variants in the Sibley’s Guide. Don’t think I ever would have noticed this because usually I only see one at a time.
