My daughter April and myself took a road trip today from Cape Breton
through the Rawdon Hills to Kentville, then back through Halifax to Cape
Breton. Highlights were a lone Pileated Woodpecker, 13 separate
Red-tailed Hawks, three dozen eagles at one farm near Wolfville, and
finally, best of all, a Gyrfalcon flying north over a field near the
Pomquet River in Antigonish County.
