hi all - along with yesterday's beautiful weather, I was very excited to ha=
ve observed my first butterfly of the season.

I'm fairly confident that it was an Eastern Comma. It was in close proximi=
ty to where I had confirmed sightings of this species last season as well. =
 It didn't sit still for long, but I did manage a few photos, and the obser=
vation is logged on e-Butterfly.

http://www.e-butterfly.org/ebutterflyapp/#/observations/lists?limit=3D20&pa=
ge=3D1&province_id=3D8

Just as a footnote, this is the earliest butterfly I've ever observed, and=
 the first time I've ever seen one in March.
