In Guysborough County there has been a die off of Red Pines going on over
several years. I lost 2 50ft Red Pines at my cottage, and a 3rd is going. A
couple of White Pines and a Jack Pine have no issues. All along the roads
you can see dead Red Pines, while the White Pines are doing well.
