I went birding today with Anne Hughes of Newfoundland and Dorothy Poole of =
Milton. We found a white-winged dove at Western Head Queens Co. It is at ho=
use 12 where you turn down the road to the lighthouse. I did not get a phot=
o. It was on the ground below the feeders first and I was focused on gettin=
g a picture of a red crossbill. Dorothy saw the bird. Anne then got good lo=
oks at it. My position had a rhododendron blocking my view. I went to move =
and it flew up into the trees beside the feeder. I could see it in the tree=
and got lots of good looks, but as hard as I tried I could not find it in =
the viewfinder of my camera.

There is a house wren building a nest in a gourd. For the purpose of the po=
sting it is in Liverpool. It is on private property, so the location cannot=
be revealed. I have pictures of the wren for documentary proof.
