My hearing is not that great but I heard of various rarities that have
shown up here in the past week so I headed out to see what I could
find. There was no sign of the Kentucky-fried Warbler (how many of them
would it take to fill up a basket?), Foster Tern (I wonder what happened
to its parents), or Syrian Warbler (one of our new immigrants?). And I
missed the one I was really looking forward to seeing, the worm eating
the warbler.
