Yesterday morning at the Halifax Farmers' Market at the Brewery, a woman told me that she saw a male Ring-necked Pheasant in downtown Halifax on Friday (11 October). It was near the corner of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street, across from the Public Gardens. It was spooked by the large numbers of people who were passing by, and the equipment gathering to deal with the Dorian-felled crane on the top of another new building.
