In addition to the eagles, Paul, studies in Maine have shown how =
rockweed harvesting reduces eider populations due to lower chick =
survival in the degraded habitat.

In addition to osprey and loon chicks Donna you could add eiders.

The population of eiders has crashed and some people believe eagles

are the cause. CWS circulated a memo to hunters back in Sept about

this - no doubt the bag limit will be further reduced next year.

The eider creches are easy prey for an eagle.
