There has been an adult eagle sitting on the nest by the Annapolis River =

ned to drive by.

Thanks Jim,

Interesting, and success again for our local eagles. That new nest at Grand=
Pre has had a pair of eagles around it, and were building or repairing it =
all winter. It's a big nest, so it could be an old one they have repaired a=
nd occupied.

20+ Robins and quite a few Red winged blackbirds and grackles, as well as b=
ig flocks of Cedar Waxwings, have been at our place and Miners Marsh, and p=
resumably points between, for at least a week now. Our pair of Pine warbler=
s are still coming to the feeders.

Look on the bright side - Social distancing is a great opportunity to go in=
to the great outdoors and enjoy the birds!

One of the nests seen today is a brand-new one, about one km. east of the L=

north side of West Long Island Road, and right next to a farmhouse. And i=

Today I also saw 3 American robins, together, at the Eye Road/Hwy 1 junctio=

Lisa Eye reported 4 red-winged blackbirds and 1 common grackle, but I didn=
=92t hear whether these were seen today, north of Port Williams.
