Hi all:

Some Baltimore orioles appear to have arrived today. Peter Haughn of Heckm=
an's Island sent me an email with photos of a female Baltimore oriole. He =
is unsure but there might actually be two separate birds.

I had a male Baltimore oriole show up here today in my backyard at LaHave. =
This is a first record for this species here for me, so a thrilling start =
to the day. It initially was getting something out of the grass on the law=
n. After awhile it went to the black oil sunflower seeds. I did put out g=
rapes and half an orange, but it did not notice them at all.
