<span style="font-size: 12pt;">All along the way Ebony Jewelwing Damsel Flies were present.</span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">A few at spots where the sun got through the canopy of trees</span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: medium;">up to 8 - 10 at the stream. One never knows if it is a good year</span>

<span style="font-size: medium;">for them or if I just happened along at the best time.</span>

<span style="font-size: medium;">One pair were perched along the path in a sun lite spot on a fern.</span>

<span style="font-size: medium;">The male darted out and grabbed a mosquito and went back to the fern</span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: medium;">for his lunch. The female darted out also but I didn't see what she had for</span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: medium;">lunch but she came back to her perch.</span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: medium;">There was no shortage of lunch!</span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: medium;">A bear had extruded a couple of piles of yesterday's goodies along</span>

<span style="font-size: medium;">the way. I was hoping to meet him or her but no luck. Found a cool spot</span>

<span style="font-size: medium;">for a snooze likely.</span>
</div>
