Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus)
Breeds in E Asia, Siberia, China, Japan; winters in India, S. China, mainland SE Asia, Taiwan, Sundas, Philippines, Sulawesi and the Moluccas.
Common winter visitor in open areas, second growth and residential areas, often on telephone wires.
L. c. lucionensis is found throughout the Philipines. L. c. confusus has only from one report in Luzon.
