Objectives
To facilitate the sustainable utilization of the resources of the Annapolis watershed, that is, to help local residents to buy into a conservation ethic which ensure that community economic growth will be environmentally sustainable. In striving toward this goal, CARP takes an entrepreneurial approach promoting its goals much as a small business would market its services. CARP is more interested in pro-active response to genuine communtiy and scientific concern that with merely pressuring government to do something. Like a cooperative, CARP believes many of the solutions to these problems can be best addressed with local control, joint community action and with the agenda firmly rooted in our communties.
