Alexander Graham Bell

Crest of Clansfolk of Clan Bell
[Thin Blue Line]

Alexander Graham Bell was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in a corner house near what is known as City Centre. Throughout his life, he crafted many worthwhile inventions including the telephone, on the wires of which this website is brought to you. Alexander Bell and his wife lived for many years in Baddeck, where he accomplished many of these inventions. Today, having lived their full and most meaningful lives, they rest there on top of the mountain, Beinn Bhreagh, which they called home.

Alexander Bell performed his first invention when he was 14 years of age, as a result of "hanging out" with his friend at his friend's father's grist mill. He was challenged to find an easier method for hulling oats, and rose to the occasion.
