What is life?
What does it mean?
Is it treasurs and wishes and perils unseen?
Shall we love it?
Shall we live it?
Are we all involved in the creation of it?
Life is simple.
And confusing.
We'll never know how much we're losing.
Life is joyful.
And sometimes sad.
But we'll always cherish what we had.
My poem asks you, What do you think?
Are we part of a missing link?
Will we perish, will we die?
Is there heavens in the sky?
When we leave where will we go?
Where the babbling rivers of life do flow?
Or will we sit, in cold hard graves?
Waiting for the chosen days?
When we will all be set free and far,
Into the universe upon a star.
The question plagues me.
Does death ever speak?
Can anyone help me with the answers I seek?
What is this life?
And how can I choose?
The paths are many, and the gateways a ruse.
We wil never be happy.
We will never be free.
We are convicted of many crimes don't you see?
We have killed all our brothers.
And the earth is so sick.
Our trees are nothing but but a branch and a stick.
All we do is kill and destroy.
What can we do to try and find joy?
Will we travel so far, so far and away.
That none will remember the pain that we pay?
So stop all this nonsense lets get it together!
Many hands do make work light as a feather.
And then one day, when we've cleaned up our mess.
We'll see the world as if in a new dress.
The beauty and joy we thought we once lost,
Will be back.
Try and understand what I say is the truth.
We must fight, even though we are youth.
So cast off the shackles,
And set yourself free.
And soon there will be a place for you and for me.
And our children with thank us.
We've saved their world too.
And there will always be places,
For me and for you.


Hmm, I thought I'd try something new.. interesting huh?
