Dammit, the displays on this spaceship are defective
Thought I saw Earth, but it was just a piece of dust
On the monitor, but I had been fooled for days
And I'd been anticipating my return
A warm homecoming

Parades for the astronaut, lost but found again
In my excitement, I didn't recognise the dust
It had me flying loops and tricks
In this crappy old ship
To think I'd be under gravity once again
But I must have hit a meteorite
The radar got banged and
The dust fell away...
I'M STILL LOST IN SPACE!

I know there are other lost ships, there are even rescue crafts...
But my radio is silent.
Bounce me a communication off of the moon.
