These chess tournaments are designed for young Nova Scotians.

Dates:		Saturdays
		Nov 1	Nov 29	Dec 13
Registration:	9:00 am (9:00 am-1:00 pm)
Entry Fee:	$5

Sections:	-Advanced	(rated over 900)
		(note: Chess Federation of Canada membership required; $7 for non-members)
		-Novice		(rated 600-900)
		-Beginner	(rated under 600)
Prizes:		1st and 2nd in each section


Canadian Youth Chess Festival (Halifax Regional)

Entry Fee: $10		Registration: 9:00 am (9:00 am-3:00 pm)

All games rated either by Chess'n Math Association or the Chess Federation of Canada.
