Mug and Anchour Active Chess Tournament

Active chess is a "faster" version of the game chess and is played with a chess clock. Each side must complete all their moves in half hour. Otherwise they loose on time.

The Mug and Anchor Active was played at a leasurely pace Tuesday nights at 6:00pm at the Mug and Anchor Pub, Mader's Wharf in Mahone Bay, NS, spitting distance from the North Atlantic Ocean. This is the regular meeting time and place for the Lunenburg Chess Club.

Explanation: In total we had should have had 30 games (6x6 games - 6 = 30 games.) and 26 have been played except for 4 games unplayed because one participant withdrew.

I guess next time we should be a little less ambitious and have a single round robin or play more than one game a night.
