Canadian Chess Challenge National Finals May 22-23

The Canadian Chess Challenge is a National Scholastic Program, which was started by the Chess'n Math Association. Each year, the program determines the national chess champion for each school grade. That is, the grade 12 champion, grade 11 champion, etc. This program is now in its 17th year. According to Larry Bevand, the Canadian Chess Challenge is the only Canadian chess event where each province is represented by 12 players, one in each school grade from Grade 1 - Grade 12.

The Newfoundland and Labrador School Chess Association (NLSCA) has set up a web site with much useful information about the CCC National Finals.
