The Nova Scotia Parachute Association is a non profit organization who's members pursue growth and advancement in the sport of skydiving in this region.
In Canada there are two types of first jumps. The first involves taking the first jump course, 3-5 hours training, followed by a static line type of jump from 3000 ft. The second is a tandem jump, the student is attached to the tandem master. This requires training from 15 - 60 minutes and exit altitude of 12,000 ft. After making 2 jumps the first jump course student has the option of continuing in a classical progression or Progressive Freefall program. For info on Canadian Skydiving you should check out
