We elected to anchor between a fine beach and a rocky islet along the western channel shore in 2 fathoms of water at Beinn Scalpie. Within sight of Seal Island Bridge, this was a fine spot to wait for a fair tide. We all went ashore and set about gathering firewood for our cooking purposes.
