It was a good feeling to have the hook down before nightfall in a peaceful broad cove, where we were greeted by two boatloads of young people out for an evening lark. Later the lights of Harbour Breton shone vividly to the westward, as did the Milky Way in the sky above us. Bioluminescence in the water amused the crew as they prepared for sleep.
