Order Information
Prices given are in Canadian dollars.
We accept Paypal (https://www.paypal.com/), VISA, Mastercard, personal cheques or money orders. VISA charge is based on the Canadian dollar price, but charged to your account in your own currency (at the current exchange rate).
Where applicable, the option for a pattern or a kit is given. Where no
pattern price appears, this item is only available as a kit. A kit
includes the pattern and appropriate yarn for the project.
To Order Kits or Patterns:
Please read through the following information,
print the Order Form to fill out your order (order details may also be emailed directly to us).
Payment Options
Paypal on-line:
1) Email or phone (toll-free 866-272-7796) us your order.
2) We will email or phone back with your total (incl. postage and taxes).
3) Log in to Paypal to make your payment to our account info@tradewindknits.com.
(Note: For maximum security (in case of concerns about the relialibilty of this website!) log in to Paypal by opening a new web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla, or Netscape) and type in https://www.paypal.com/.
4) Your parcel will be in the mail asap.
Visa orders:
Phone in your order to our toll-free line 866-272-7796,
or mail us the order form.
When sending VISA information, please include: number, expiry date, full name as it appears on the card, and a phone number in case we need to contact you.
Cheque or money order:
To speed your package on its way:
1) Check that you have entered all the details for each item.
2) Enter appropriate postage amount - see below.
3) Call or email for a conversion to U.S. funds.
4) Canadian residents only - add taxes. : (
5) Include a cheque or money order for TOTAL.( For VISA card orders, see above!).)

6) Affix stamp - and rush to nearest mailbox!
Note that Canadian orders should also include G.S.T. of 6% (on total order plus shipping charges), and 14% H.S.T. for residents of NS, NFD, and NB.
Shipping and Handling Rates:
Prices are given in Canadian dollars. International shipping charge available by request.
Canadian orders:
$3.50 for 1 DVD.
$8.50 for 4 DVDs. (NOTE: It is possible to add a pattern or two to the 4-DVD shipping without
incurring additional shipping expenses.
$3.50 for 1 - 6 patterns, or up to 3 thread cutters or 3 pairs of earrings.
$6.50 for 7 or more patterns
$6.50 for any number of Earring kits, knitting needles, thread cutters, and/or jewellery.
Small Kits or loose yarn: $9.00 for first kit (ie socks, mittens, hats, shawls, scarves, Henry, Rat Bag) Plus $2.00 for each additional small kit.
Large Kits: $11.00 for first kit, (ie sweaters, vests, Sheep or Lamb Bags) Plus $3.00 for each additional large kit.
Note:With a large or small kit order, no extra postage is required for patterns, needles or other small items.
Orders paid by cheque may be held for 10 business days (re confirmation of cheque clearing).
U.S. orders (shipped by Air Mail):
$3.00 for 1 DVD
$6.00 for 2 DVDs.
$8.00 for 4 DVDs.
NOTE: It is possible to add a pattern or two to the 2-DVD (or more) order without
incurring additional shipping expenses.
$3.00 for 1 - 6 patterns, or up to 3 thread cutters or 3 pairs of earrings.
$6.00 for 7 or more patterns
