   Residents plan lake cleanup party 
   
   A group of Dartmouth residents trying to revive a polluted lake are
   planning a cleanup party for Saturday.
   
   People who live near Maynard Lake, basically a large, deep pond
   located just off Portland Street near Penhorn Mall, will pick up trash
   Saturday morning as a kickoff to Environment Week.
   
   Recreational divers are expected to scour the bottom for garbage as
   well.
   
   Organizers plan a barbecue and a sing-along from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
   
   Officials are trying to locate the source of the fecal pollution that
   has devastated the lake, once a recreational focal point in the
   neighbourhood.
