Hi Sheila,

    It's possible that the Sympatico server might be down, which could 
explain the 'remote server down' message.  If so, your emails would be 
held until the server is up again.  Sometimes, email will be rerouted 
to other servers if one is down, sometimes not.  The internet is a 
crapshoot, at best.

    If it was the Dal network, then all of our outgoing email would be 
affected as that network handles all of our material.  Since our other 
emails are travelling fine, I think we're looking at Sympatico as the 
sticking block right now.  It's probably a temporary thing.  Let us 
know if it persists.

    If your hostname is Sympatico, then the default would be the same.
