Hi Don,

Are you typing on a graphical page or via telnet to the text service? While
typing on a graphical page, everything is held within your computer's ram and
the PLUS link doesn't get any action for a long time so it thinks you have left
and it disconnects.

When typing on a text telnet link, it sends information constantly through
the link and keeps it active. The next time you get that message, open another
page in your browser, even just temporarily, as that will send an action
through the link, refreshing it.

If composing a email through a program like Thunderbird or Outlook Express,
you can temporarily save what you've written and then continue later. What I
will do is compose a letter in Wordpad on my computer, save it, and then later
use Select All to grab all of the text and paste it into an online page. That
way, you will always have your copy saved on your computer.
