Colleagues-
are we picking up on this one?
what are the likely physical (bombing bio and chemwar establishments??) and
political consequences of the military action against Iraq?
Is there an agenda we don't know? (e.g. an armed anti-Saddam group ready to
go a la bay of pigs)
Was Bill Clinton last night telling the Kurds (mentioned rather
specifically) to have a go in extending their area of authority in Iraq? If
so which Kurdish group will benefit and what doies Turkey think about that?
Will there be air cover if the Basra Shi'ites(?) rebel again?
what did Chretien actually say? Is he really supporting the us or did he
just "regret the inevitability" (comme Kofi Annan who was clearly quite
pissed off last nite)?
