Dear Harold &al.,

I posted an earlier note pointing out that this was clearly a
hoax.  One indication that it was a hoax is that all bills in our
federal Parliament are numbered either "C-x" if they begin in the
Commons or "S-x" if they begin in the Senate.  In either case x
represents a conventional Arabic numeral without any additional
letter.

One can also check the index to Commons debates which can be
found on the parliamentary web site at "parl.gc.ca".  In any
case, my daily review of Hansard has not indicated any such bill.

Paul Rynard a doctoral candidate in poli sci at York U has also
confirmed on another list that this was a hoax and that no such
bill existed.
