For the interest of those of you who are students at Dalhousie, i have
surveyed the candidates running in the DSU elections about what they would
do, if elected, to make Dal more environmentally responsible.

Five out of 22 candidates responded; their replies are posted at:
	http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~pfalvo/dsu.html
[It's just text so you can view it from ccn, ie in 'lynx']

Given the traditional low voter turnout in these elections, if everyone
who receives this email actually votes for these candidates, we have an
excellent chance of making the "green vote" count.

Appologies to those of you who are NOT Dal students, or who are getting
this more than once.

Please forward this to other environmentally-conscious Dal students.

The students who responded are:

VP Advoccy: Kelly MacKenzie
			Jeff Myers

VP Internal: Feras Al Banna

VP Community Affairs: April Macqueen

Senate: Amyn Lalji

All five candidates had good ideas and were positive about the question
[ie no one wrote back saying s/he is an enemy of the Earth .... :)

It's a tough call b/w MacKenzie and Myers for VP Advocacy; however, Jeff
Myers was also recommended to me from a reliable source. He is a strong
environmentalist. He was very enthusiastic about the question.

so ... PLEASE GET OUT AND VOTE ... :)
~paul

ps ... voting is March 11-13. You can even vote by email. Go to
http://www.dal.ca/~dsu for details.
