Hey all,

Well, maybe if the controversy about nailing signs to live trees dies
down a bit, folks could hash out what this means for the environment, and
particularly what opportunities it presents to environmentalists for
advancing their 'special interests'. ;->

The way I see it, all three parties are going to be very careful about
not alienating anyone... with the liberals taking the biggest lesson in
humility.

A well organized lobby could very well set the agenda if they cared to do
so. Can Nova Scotia environmentalists see through their differences to
make a minimum set of demands that they feel MUST be addressed if we are
to become truly sustainable?

It would seem to me that we have never seen a better opportunity to have
our politicians show us their true colours on:

-the Tar ponds
-the Halifax Harbour
-Organic agriculture
-the Fisheries
-Forestry
-EI/MCS and other environmental health issues

Tell me what you want, what you really, really want :->

Peace-

Daniel.
