1. The launching of the 1st ever Alternative PEI Provincial Budget

at 11:30 AM, Thursday April 23rd
in the parks canada room on the 1st flooor of the pei legislature 
(go in richmond st. entrance and turn right)

A coalition of Island groups have put together an Alternative Provincial
Budget to demonstrate that even in a small, poor province like PEI the
governmant has some choices as to how they spend our money.

4. Earth Day Concert

5. PICK UP POETRY: Saturday, April 25th, 3 to 5pm at THE ARTS GUILD.

Laurie Brinklow & Alice Anna Reese will be co-hosting this Saturday's 11th
week of Pick Up Poetry. Featured poets include Jesse Lees, Gerry O'Brien,
Robert Acorn, Doug Sherren, Garst Reese, and Hugh MacDonald and perhaps a
few others. Admission free! (a drop in the bucket is solicited to cover costs)

A weekend long Pick Up Poetry bash  is slated for the end of the summer.  In
the meantime, the Pick Up Poetry will continue into May! Details to follow.

COMEDY CABARET: Friday evening, June 19th, doors open at 8pm at THE ARTS
GUILD. With Host Ignatious Toole. Performers include: The Drill Queens,
Margie Carmichael, Kevin Fitzpatrick, The Improv Quartette of Rob MacDonald,
Matt Rainie, Ed Rashed and Rob MacLean, Urban Carmichael, Joanne Ings.
