Hello all, The Atlantic Earth Festival is holding a fund raising benefit with local recording artists Stumble and Expense of Spirit. Location: The Blues Corner, corner of Argyle and Blowers St, in Halifax. Time and Date: Thursday May 21, doors open at 9:00pm, music starts at 10.00pm. Admission: just $4 gets you in, door proceeds to the AEF. Both Stumble and Expense of Spirit played at the Earth Festival last year, have released full length cd's, and are winning rave reviews. Expense of Spirit are a eclectic good time blues/folk/rock band while Stumble, now a five-piece, is led by powerful singer/songwriters Amy Campbell and Andrea Somers. And rumour has it the Blues Corner has very reasonably priced refreshments for awhile on Thu nite . . . but this is just a rumour, on a posting . . . definitely not 'advertising' per se . . . :) Please come out and support the Earth Festival! This is our last benefit before the actual festival on June 6-7 at the George Dixon Centre on Brunswick St. in Halifax. Quite a line-up of musicians, theatre groups, environmental workshops, displays, and just plain fun is shaping up . . . more details soon . . . All the best, Peter Watson
