Grumpy Paul here ... writing to whine about something that has caused me
much angst since taking over sust-mar.

Length of posts. Please keep them short, folx. 10K is the voluntary limit
which i ask people to respect. There is a non-voluntary limit imposed by
majordomo which kicks in at a certain point. Past this limit your post is
rejected. But it still lands in my mailbox and clogs up my system.

Reason for the rule is that many of us have quotas on our accounts and
simply don't have the storage space.

I've been harping on this for a long time. Only last week i sent a
reminder. A few days later a 105K mesage lands in my inbox. I'll keep the
culprit anonymous ... but his initials are Colin Stewart :)

I really don't have time to deal with this sort of thing. I may have to
start unsubscribing people who exceed the majordomo limit. [Anyone
objecting to this dictatorial policy will automatically become the new
sust-mar owner :)

thanks for your cooperation folx. I've just spent 10 minutes of a 60 min
login session dealing with this. I'd really rather be reading the other
334 messages in my inbox!

take care
~paul :)
