ATLANTIC EARTH FESTIVAL - CELEBRATION OF A DECADE

Thursday November 19, 9:00pm, Marquee Club, 2037 Gottingen Street, HFX

The Atlantic Earth Festival will be holding a final party, social and
dance in honour of its ten years of operation (1989-1998) Thursday
November 19 at the new Marquee Club (2037 Gottingen Street in Halifax,
near the south end of Gottingen, close to Propellor Brewery).

Starts 9:00pm. Just $4 gets you in the door. Featured will be:

BILL DAWE - An AEF performer and volunteer for the past two years and
leader of ska/r&b band and '98 AEFers 'The Groove Fetish',
Bill will likely open the evening with some of his vast acoustic repertoir
that made such an impression at the '97 AEF.

EXPENSE OF SPIRIT - Excellent bluesy countryish rock & roll
quartet with a couple of cd's to their credit that
played the '97 & '98 Earthfests. Features veteran Halifax busker and AEF
Board Member Ken Faloon on vocals and guitar.

IMPACT - This high energy reggae/ska/soca/r&b band played at AfroCaribanza
this past summer and features several Carribean group members as
well as longtime expert AEF soundman Rob Gooding on guitar, who'll finally
get to leave the soundboard at an AEF event and hit the stage!

DARREN ARSENAULT - What better way to end the decade than a
               performance from multi-instrumental virtuoso Darren
Arsenault, AEF co-founder and Granddaddy, and performer at EVERY Earthfest
since the start! Darren will likely jam the blues with some of his buddies
to conclude the evening.

This is the last production from the current Atlantic Earth Festival
Association, and will be a great time to come out and meet old
friends, reminisce, celebrate, and dance! And needless to say, we've still
got a couple bills to pay so would appreciate some strong support.

Thanks for a great decade! Hope to see you there!

Cheers, Peter
