Announcing the world's first SUST-MAR CONTEST! Feelin' lucky? Everyone who posts between now and Groundhog Day a message to sust-mar giving notice of an environmental event* is automatically entered in our draw to win a valuable Sierra Club 1999 wall calendar! To qualify, entrants must prefact their entry with a descriptive subject line, that starts with "sust-mar:" Example: sust-mar: pesticide meeting Feb 3 Eligible events include: - meetings - get-togethers - press conferences - protests - workshops - speakers - potlucks - rallys - hikes - etc. Event postings must meet all sust-mar guidelines (Maritime location, environmental/sustainability topic, under 10K length) Events that have already been posted on sust-mar do not qualify, obviously, and it must be something real, ie no making stuff up! Of course if you want to create an event, post it and then really do it that's fair game. We'll be checking though ... Decision of the judges is final.
