Come on out and check out these neat veggie week activities.

>From April 5th to the 9th the Animal Liberation Collective, a working group
of the Nova Scotia Public Interest Research Group is putting on a
series of events around Vegetarianism - we encourage you to come out.

Monday, April 5th 8 pm: A Cow At My Table a documentary on factory farming
will be shown in the McMechan auditorium of the Killam Library.

Wednesday, April 7th: All day Bake Sale in the SUB lobby.  Information on
vegetarianism and animal rights will be available, as well as yummy
vegetarian food.  Questions welcomed!

Thursday, April 8th 4-6:00: Vegetarian Workshop will be held in Room 318
of the SUB.  There will be four brief talks on four components of
vegetarianism: the effects on the environment, world hunger, health, as
well as on the ethics and philosophy of vegetarianism, discussion is
welcome. Free food will also be served.  Please contact Naomi at 429-3225
if you would like to register in advance or send an e-mail to the address
at the bottom of this message.

Friday, April 9th THE GRAND FINALLY FOR THE LAST DAY OF CLASSES - at
6:00pm there will be a VEGGIE FOOD FAIR in Room 224 of the SUB.  Wander in
. . . Local folks will have vegetarian goodies and cruelty-free products
for you to sample or buy.
