Pamela, try TWIGS. They make (locally) aftershave and other toiletries
from natural ingredients ... so i think they'd be suitable. They even give
you some money back if you return the empty bottle for reuse. Most of
their products are vegetable (unlike their mass-produced counterparts).
TWIGS is available at the Halifax Farmers' Market ... not sure where else
... try the Dal NSPIRG food co-op.

Body Shop also has a nonscented aftershave baum, which is pretty good ...
altho certainly not a local product, and some of their products contain
animal ingredients.
