Hello All,

Dalhousie's campus/community radio station CKDU 97.5FM is currently
'greening' its airwaves, particularly on Mondays.

As announced in a recent message, you can check out a new show called "Ecolos"
that focuses on local and international environmental themes. This
show is hosted and produced at CKDU by Paul Shreenan and airs Monday at
noon just after the BBC newscast.

Then at 1:00pm on Mondays CKDU is airing a 13-part series called "Deep
Ecology for the 21st Century". This unique, award-winning series offers
wisdom and coherence, and gathers in one series Paul Ehrlich, Winona
LaDuke, Theodore Roszak, Arne Naess, David Brower, Edward Abbey, David
Suzuki, Pulitzer-Prize winners Gary Snyder and E. O. Wilson, among many
others. Deep Ecology for the 21st Century conveys an insightful and
inspiring assessment of the current state of the earth, and offers
listeners new and empowering perceptions about the planet they live on.
It is the recipient of the Special Merit for National Documentary Award
from the National Federation of Community Broadcasters.

"This is the most important radio series ever aired for the survival of
the planet." - Arne Naess, founder of deep ecology.

So please check out both these fine new shows Mondays on CKDU 97.5fm,
"Ecolos" at noon and "Deep Ecology for the 21st Century" at 1:00pm. And
dont forget that "Ecolos" is locally produced and that input , ideas and
guests from the local communities are most welcome.

And, oh yes, while you're at it try checking out "Changes in Latitude", a
tour of extremely grooving global music and cultures that airs 10:30 -
noon on Mondays, right before "Ecolos" (shameless self promotion there, I
know . . . :)

Happy Listening!

Cheers,

Peter
