an atmosphere for magical learning adventures

Steve Van Matre is a former professor of Environmental Education and the
co-founder and Chairman of the Institute for Earth Education, which has
branches in ten countries.  At various points in his career he has served as
a youth leader, schoolteacher, camp director, and educational consultant.
He has a worldwide reputation as an outstanding leader in the field and has
conducted over 800 training sessions and completed 12 world speaking tours.
His widely published works include Acclimatization (1969), Acclimatizing
(1974), Sunship Earth (1979), The Earth Speaks (1983), EarthKeepers (1987),
and Earth Education: A New Beginning (1990).

Cost:
$5 in advance, $7 at the door (includes door prizes).  Space is limited.

Cost and Registration:
Cost is $100 (people with full-time paid employment) and $60 (students,
seasonal, part-time workers, etc.).  Includes Friday night speech, weekend
workshops, Saturday and Sunday lunch, Saturday evening banquet ^ÓCelebration
of the Earth.^Ô  Participants are responsible for their own accommodations
and breakfasts.

Space is limited.  To pre-register, please send name, address, postal code,
phone number, fax number, and e-mail address with a deposit of $20 by April
15 to reserve your spot.  You will receive in return a confirmation package
