We’re constantly being told that there is no alternative to globalization.
Multinational corporations are the future: the nation-state is dead.
Fortunately, not everybody believes this concept.

Please join a conversation on globalization, its implications and its
alternatives.

FORUM on ALTERNATIVES to CORPORATE GLOBALIZATION
Tuesday November 21st, 7pm
Rm 224, Dalhousie Student Union Bldg.
Presented by the Economic Justice working group of NSPIRG

Speakers:
Ron Colman – Director, GPI Atlantic
Janet M. Eaton – Professor of Political Science at Acadia University
John Jacobs – Coordinator, Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives Nova
Scotia
Don Grady – Retired Professor of Sociology at Acadia University

Format: Each speaker will give an opening statement of 15 minutes, then we
will split into two discussion groups. Each speaker will facilitate an
audience conversation (the first two speakers, then the second two).

Whether you want to contribute or just listen, all are welcome.
