Paul's note: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUST-MAR! Today is the second anniversary of
sust-mar becoming a moderated list. We then had ~70 subscribers. Today we
have 263, incl 40 who receive a twice-monthly "digest." Please consider
helping sust-mar by making a financial donation to CCN or to sust-mar
directly. Donations to sust-mar will be used to order more
"Sustainability" cards advertising the list. My informal survey showed
that many of you joined b/c of the cards ... sust-mar is now out of cards
and out of money. RSVP if you'll contribute. pfalvo@chebucto.ns.ca

Join members of EAC's Hemlock Circus & Santa Claus as he presents DNR with a
unique gift. Santa, his reindeer, elves and carolers will meet outside the
DNR office buildings on Hollis Street at 11 am on Tuesday. Help send a
message to government that Nova Scotians are not happy with the current
clearcutting practices in our province.

For more information contact Mark at acepa@altavista.com or Veronica at the
NSEN office.

NSEN Coordinator

usual tree.

else. (The stump, by the way, is done--it's on a rolling platform about
2'x2' with "snow" and battery-operated lights. It looks great.) We get into
the lobby and try to get up to DNR. Meanwhile, we're singing and get our
media coverage in the lobby. If we don't get to DNR, that's OK. At least
we should get someone to come down to accept their tree.

actually heard them).
