Normally, sust-mar focusses on local, i.e. Maritime issues. We've traditionally made an exception for posts that contain details on how to subscribe to other email lists. I.e., if you send an email that describes another environmental email list, and how to subscribe to it, I will post it even though it might not be strictly "Maritime." Sometimes readers submit URL's for websites. While not strictly "local," I think we should make the same exception for websites that we do for other mailing lists. Once a month i'll try to make a compilation of websites submitted. I'll send them out in one email, like the one below. Remember -- you can find them again in the sust-mar archives. CAR BUSTERS MAGAZINE AND RESOURCE CENTRE <http://www.antenna.nl/eyfa/cb> France-based site with an on-line magazine offering alternatives to car culture and listing resources related to car culture and direct action. EARTHFIRST! JOURNAL <http://earthfirstjournal.org/frontcover.cfm> is the online versin of the radical environmental newspaper. Info on corporate baddies and the people's struggle against them. A good site to avoid! GREENSPIRATION ODYSSEY EMAIL LIST <http://greenspiration@web.ca> This URL just looks wrong! Is it a website or an email list? It's reputed to contain ecological stories, some of them generated by veteran activists Tooker Gomberh and Angela Bischoff.
