Sunday June 3 McNabs and Lawlor Islands Beach Sweep McNabs Island, Halifax County 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Kick off Environment Week by joining the Friends of McNabs Island Society in a beach cleanup of McNabs and nearby Lawlor Island. Wear sturdy footwear, bring your own work gloves, a lunch and drinking water. Transportation is FREE for all volunteers. Rain date - Sunday, June 10th.
