Many of you know the GRAINERY from the Halifax Farmers' Market. It's a
volunteer-run, non-profit co-op selling healthy grains and other dry
goods ... especially local and organic.

But did you know that the GRAINERY is opening soon it's STOREFRONT
location at 2385 Agricola Street (between Cousin's and Tobin's (And
Artspace)). Watch for our grand opening on Dominion Day (July 1).

And did you know that GRAINERY VOLUNTEERS get a 33% DISCOUNT on purchases?

Best of all, there are lots of opportunities to volunteer:

1. Our WORK PARTY for the new storefront is Sunday, 10 June at 1:00pm.
Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Jocelyn at 423-7476 or
mailto:jmknoest@yahoo.com if you can pitch in. Food provided!

2. Voluteers are needed EVERY SATURDAY MORNING at the Farmers' Market.
RSVP to Jocelyn if you can fill a shift or two or more.

3. Volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis ANYTIME to pitch in with
weighing and bagging grains. RSVP to Jocelyn.

4. Volunteers will be needed after July 1 to work shifts at the new
storefront, probably 3-6pm every day. Again, RSVP to Jocelyn if you can
fill a shift or shifts on an occasional or ongoing basis.

5. Grainery MEETINGS take place every Tuesday at the new location at 2385
Agricola St. All are welcome.

Finally .. the Grainery has a WISH LIST. Can you donate any of the
following? We need: cleaning supplies, including rags, vinegar, baking
soda, all-purpose cleaner, a mop head, a square bucket, newspaper, etc.;
and painting supplies, including paint, brushes, rollers, a roller
extension and Polyfilla. If you can provide any of these items, RSVP to
Janet at 475-1926.

FOR MORE INFO on the Grainery, please contact Jocelyn at the number above,
or Robert & Nancy at 423-1603, mailto: rjeans@kayhay.com

Thanks ...
~paul :)
