FALLS BROOK CENTRE

Falls Brook Centre is a non-profit, charitable, environmentally-focused
community development centre in New Brunswick. Located on 400 acres of farm
and forest land, FBC demonstrates the practical application and
implementation of sustainable development. Appropriate technology
applications of solar energy, organic agriculture, composting, and
recycling models, as well as 7
km of fully marked forest trails and a forest museum bring visitors on a
regular basis.

Forest restoration is an integral part of our vision and activities. Our
Acadian Forest Restoration Nursery provides the plant stock for our
restoration efforts on and off-site. We also are actively involved in
sustainable forest certification (FSC) including group certification for
woodlot owners and the promotion of non-timber forest products.
