Interested in food security issues, or just want to get your hands dirty? Bring your ideas and help us develop this worthwhile project as we discuss the potential of growing organic food right here in HRM. This Tuesday, January 15 at 7:00 PM at Highland Park Junior High (3479 Robie Street - across from the Robie Street Water Reservoir) we'll be discussing plans for the next gardening season at the Prescott Street Community Garden. We'll also be looking at the importance of eating locally grown foods, along with the potential of urban agriculture in HRM and its role in the coming years as a community resource.
