THE ART OF LIVING IN PEACE

"Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that
the defences of peace must be constructed."--prologue to UNESCO
Constitution

This weekend workshop draws on various cultural traditions, psychology and
modern physics to examine the nature of peace, its destruction, and ways
to rediscover it. Living in peace is a dynamic experience which leads to
health and well-being for ourselves, society and nature. The program
format includes discussions and interactive exercises for our bodies,
minds and emotions. Open to adults and teens.

Presented by the Peace Education Network, a Nova Scotia-based organization
affiliated with the Peace Foundation Network (UK) and dedicated to peace
education for all ages (including specially designed programs for
schoolchildren).
