--------------------------------------------------------- Noam Chomsky and Michael Parenti talk about September 11, terrorism and globalization in two films being presented by CKDU-FM as part of the station's annual Funding Drive. On Tuesday, January 29, Noam Chomsky's lecture "The New War on Terrorism" will be screened in the McMechan Room of the Killam Library at Dalhousie University. The film starts at 5:00 p.m. and is two hours long. This lecture was recorded in October, 2001 in Boston. On Wednesday, January 30, at 4:00 p.m., Michael Parenti's talk "Globalization and Terrorism" will be shown in the McMechan Room of the Killam Library. This talk is 70 minutes long and was recorded in September, 2001. Admission for each film is a $2.00 donation. For more information, call 494-6479.
